Getting here from Georgetown

The drive is mostly interstate

From downtown Georgetown or the Cherry Blossom Way area, take I-75 South toward Lexington. Stay on I-75 South through the stretch it shares with I-64 and take Exit 110 (Winchester Rd / US-60). Turn right toward Lexington; Executive Drive is about half a mile on the right.

From south Georgetown and the Clabber Bottom / Elkhorn Green side, US-25 (Georgetown Rd) into Lexington is a slower but steady alternative when I-75 is backed up. Most Scott County drives land between 15 and 25 minutes outside of rush hour.

Prefer not to drive? Call or text (859) 368-0162 and we can quote, review documents and finish paperwork without an office visit.

What we hear from Scott County

Common Georgetown insurance questions

Scott County has grown quickly, and its insurance needs reflect that mix of new subdivisions, long commutes and older farm ground.

Plant and shift-work commuters

Many Georgetown households work rotating shifts at the Toyota plant or at warehouses along the I-75 corridor. We talk through commute mileage, multiple drivers and vehicles parked at work overnight when we compare auto options.

Newer subdivisions

Much of Georgetown's newer housing went up on the south and east sides of town. Buyers closing on a new build often need a homeowners policy bound before closing; we can work on that around your lender's timeline.

Georgetown College renters

Students and young renters near Georgetown College and downtown often need renters coverage for their own belongings and liability, which a landlord's policy does not cover. We can explain the basics.

Elkhorn Creek and low ground

North Elkhorn Creek and its branches run through Scott County, and some low-lying lots near the creek sit in mapped flood zones. Standard homeowners policies generally exclude flood, so we suggest checking your address on the FEMA flood map and asking us about separate flood options.

Rural and hobby-farm homes

Outside town, around Stamping Ground, Sadieville and the north end of the county, homes often come with barns, outbuildings and acreage. Tell us what is on the property so we can match it to the right type of policy.

Growing families, more drivers

Adding a teen driver or a second household vehicle is one of the most common reasons Scott County clients call. We walk through how it affects the policy before you make changes.

Before you call

What helps us quote a Scott County home or car

  • Your current declarations pages, if you have coverage now
  • Driver's license numbers and vehicle VINs for everyone on the auto policy
  • For homes: the year built, roof age, square footage and any updates; for new builds, the builder and expected closing date
  • Outbuildings, barns, pools or a home business on the property
  • Whether your lot is near Elkhorn Creek or has ever had water in the basement

We are an independent agency, so we compare options from multiple carriers instead of one company. What is available depends on the property, the drivers and each carrier's rules; we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot place.
