What Jessamine County households ask us about
Jessamine County sits directly south of Lexington, and a big share of the county drives Nicholasville Road every day.
- Nicholasville Road commuters. US-27 between Nicholasville and Lexington is one of the busiest corridors in the region. Stop-and-go mileage, teen drivers heading to school and two-car households are regular auto conversations.
- Brannon Crossing and north Nicholasville. Many newer neighborhoods sit near the Fayette line. Buyers there often need a home policy lined up quickly for closing.
- Wilmore and Asbury. Wilmore is home to Asbury University and Asbury Theological Seminary, so we hear from students, seminary families and faculty renting or buying in a small town.
- Farms and acreage. South and west of Nicholasville, toward the Kentucky River, homes often sit on acreage with barns, fencing and livestock. Farm and equine exposures can need different policies than a standard home, and we'll tell you what we can place.
- River palisades and creeks. Property near the Kentucky River and Jessamine Creek can include steep lots and low-lying ground. Some is in mapped flood zones; check the FEMA map and ask us about flood, which standard home policies generally exclude.
- Wineries and small businesses. Jessamine County has a growing number of farm businesses and small shops. We have commercial insurance conversations for those too.

Before you reach out
Do you have a Nicholasville office?
No. Our office is at 2240 Executive Dr, Ste 103, Lexington. We serve Jessamine County from there.
Can you help with a home that has a barn or horses?
Often, yes, but it depends on what's on the property and how it's used. Tell us about the acreage, outbuildings and animals and we'll explain which kinds of policies fit and which carriers may write them.
I'm a student in Wilmore. Do I need renters insurance?
It's worth looking at. Your landlord's or school's policy usually doesn't cover your own belongings or your personal liability. We can walk you through it.
