Asshield Insurance (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This notice describes how information collected through asshield.com and related quote forms may be used.
Information we collect
When you submit a quote, contact, or careers/job application form, we may collect your name, phone number, email, ZIP code, coverage interests, message or cover-note content, licensing details, resume/CV files you upload, and related application answers. If you call or text us, we may collect information needed to quote or service a policy. We may also store a simple preference in your browser (see Browser storage below).
How we use it
We use your information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, place coverage with insurance carriers, service policies, send related follow-up by call or text when you have provided a number, and improve our website. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We may share information with insurance carriers, managing general agents, and service providers as needed to quote or bind coverage, or as required by law.
Forms & hosting (Netlify)
Website contact, callback, and careers application forms on asshield.com are typically processed by our hosting provider through Netlify Forms when the site is hosted on Netlify. Submission data (the fields you type) is stored and delivered to Asshield under Netlify’s policies. If we ever use an alternate form service (for example Formspree), that provider’s privacy policy also applies to those submissions.
Online quote tool (Phonesites)
Our full online quote experience at asshield.phonesites.com is operated with a third-party provider (Phonesites). Information you enter there is handled by that tool under its own terms and privacy practices, in addition to Asshield’s use of the data to quote and place coverage. Links that open the quote tool leave asshield.com.
Google Maps embeds
Some pages embed Google Maps to show our offices. Loading those embeds may allow Google to collect technical data (such as IP address and device information) according to Google’s privacy policy. Map “Directions” and “Open in Google Maps” links also go to Google.
Calls & SMS / texting
You can reach Asshield by calling or texting our published office numbers (Florida Gulf Coast and Lexington, KY). Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. If you text us, your mobile provider and messaging apps may process those messages. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts where that option is offered. Consent to receive calls or texts is not required to buy insurance.
Browser storage (localStorage)
We may save a small preference in your browser’s localStorage (for example, which “need” chip you selected — home, auto, business, or unsure) so we can pre-fill coverage interest on a later visit. This stays on your device; we do not use it to track you across other websites. You can clear it anytime by clearing site data in your browser settings.
