Joshua and Terrill Williams have been in insurance since 2009 — previously representing another carrier and running their own agencies separately. Joshua opened Asshield in 2020 as an independent, multi-carrier agency with a simple vision: compare real carriers, talk to real people, and show up when clients need help.
Together they’re raising five kids between Lexington, Kentucky and Destin, Florida. They love family, they love the beach, and they put faith first: Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior. That same care shows up at work — growing the business, supporting clients, and building something that lasts.
Until 2026 the agencies stayed separate. In 2026 Terrill sold her agencies; she is currently consulting other agencies and focusing on raising their family. Terrill will join Asshield in 2027.
Today Asshield remains independent and multi-carrier by design, with dual offices in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Lexington, Kentucky, and licensed reach across 12 states. Clients get clear options from licensed agents who pick up the phone — not a script-only call center.
