Whether you run a single box truck for last-mile delivery, a hotshot unit, or an interstate long-haul or hazmat fleet, the truck is the business. Insurance is often the largest operating cost after fuel, and the wrong policy can stop you from getting loads.
We work with commercial auto carriers that write trucking and delivery operations and help you understand what drives price — radius, cargo, driver experience, and safety record — so you can plan for it.
A new hotshot operator gets his authority and lands a broker contract that requires $1 million auto liability and $100,000 cargo. We help assemble a commercial auto policy with the right filings and a cargo endorsement so he can start hauling.
Where we see it locally
We help delivery and hauling operations across the 12 states we serve, from Gulf Coast construction-material hauling to regional delivery routes. We write local, regional, and long-haul operations, hazmat haulers, and new authorities. Underwriting depends on radius, commodities, and driver experience, so the more detail you share, the better we can price it.

Trucking, Hauling & Delivery insurance questions
Can you insure new trucking authorities?
Yes. New authorities are in our appetite. Carriers look closely at the owner’s and drivers’ CDL experience, and rates are usually higher for the first few years. We shop the markets that write new ventures and help with the filings you need to get running.
Do I need cargo insurance?
If you haul goods for others, shippers and brokers usually require it. Motor truck cargo is separate from auto liability.
What is the difference between for-hire and private carriage?
For-hire carriers haul other people’s goods for pay and often need federal or state filings. Private carriers haul their own goods. The distinction affects coverage and filings.
Does commercial auto cover box truck delivery for Amazon or similar programs?
Many delivery programs have specific insurance requirements. Share the contract requirements and we will quote to them.
Do you insure long-haul and hazmat operations?
Yes. We insure interstate long-haul and hazmat haulers. Hazmat carriers face higher federal minimum liability limits than general freight (up to $5 million for some materials), so we build the program around your commodities, radius, and driver experience.
